Holihouse

Holihouse is a leading company in the promotion and professional management of tourist accommodation in Greece, helping property owners improve the visibility, organisation and performance of their properties.

The collaboration between Holihouse and KOKU SCRIPTS includes both the development of the company’s public website and the creation of specialised digital tools that support its internal operations.

The objective of the project was to build a modern multilingual online presence while also providing a technical foundation for automating daily tasks, centralising information and improving communication with clients and partners.

Holihouse’s requirements

Holihouse required an integrated digital solution covering two different but closely connected objectives:

  • A modern corporate website for presenting the company’s services and managed properties.
  • Internal tools that support daily operations and reduce repetitive manual tasks.

The solution also needed to remain flexible and expandable as the company’s requirements, property portfolio and external integrations continued to grow.

The solution developed by KOKU SCRIPTS

KOKU SCRIPTS designed and developed the public Holihouse website using WordPress and Elementor, with a custom design tailored to the company’s visual identity and content requirements.

Alongside the public website, we developed a custom internal web application with Laravel. This application provides the foundation for business processes and automations that could not be handled effectively by a standard WordPress plugin or an off-the-shelf management platform.

Key elements of the project

Custom internal Laravel application

A specialised web application was developed with Laravel to support Holihouse’s internal operations. The custom architecture allows the system to follow the company’s actual workflows and to expand with new modules and features as additional requirements arise.

Corporate website with WordPress and Elementor

The public website was developed using WordPress and Elementor, with a custom layout and content structure. This gives the Holihouse team the ability to manage public content while maintaining a consistent and professional presentation.

Custom registration form

A tailored registration form was created to collect the information required from prospective clients and partners. The form includes backend functionality designed around Holihouse’s specific operational needs rather than relying on a generic contact-form solution.

Google Maps API integration

The Google Maps API integration provides location and mapping functionality where required across the website and internal system.

Dropbox API integration

The Dropbox API integration supports file exchange and management between the application and Dropbox, reducing the need for manual file transfers and disconnected storage processes.

Multilingual content

The website supports multiple languages, allowing Holihouse to present its services to both Greek-speaking and international audiences.

Contact and enquiry forms

Custom contact and enquiry forms were added to help the company collect relevant information from property owners, prospective clients and business partners.

Hosting and technical support

KOKU SCRIPTS provides hosting and ongoing technical support for the relevant websites and applications, ensuring a controlled operating environment and continued technical assistance as the project evolves.

Combining a public website with internal business software

The Holihouse project is an example of how a public corporate website can be combined with an independent custom business application.

WordPress is used for content management and the company’s public presentation, while Laravel supports specialised internal processes, automations and third-party integrations.

This separation allows each technology to be used for the purpose it handles best, without adding complex business logic to the public website.
